I’d describe myself as someone cheerful, creative, relaxed, open-minded and adventurous.

I'm a university student with a background in biotechnology, currently focusing my studies in Utrecht on the ethical dilemma's that come with these and other technological developments.
During the last three months of 2017, I have been travelling in India and Southeast Asia, where I had a marvellous time 😊
Otherwise I enjoy drawing/painting, taking time for cooking, doing yoga and watching weird arthouse movies.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In the south of France I've walked >700km of the 'camino', the road that eventually leads to Santiago de Compostella in Spain. For a month I carried all that I needed in my 9 kg backpack on my back. As a challenge to myself, to enjoy nature, to open up my mind and to meet amazing people on the way. Which I definitely did! A wonderful experience and I'm sure to return some day :)

As for my own interests, I've studied biotechnology, so I can tell you about genetic modification, how to clone bacteria and how the human immune system works. Also, I'm concerned about the ethical dilemma's that come with these topics, so I'm in for a discussion here.

Otherwise I'm interested in art (impressionism), global politics, art house movies, world cuisine, travel destinations, life stories, or any philosophical topic or small talk really ;)
