One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my best souvenir is during my trip in South America. I was in Pucon (Chili), and because I'm a mountain addict, I wanted to hike to the summit of the Villarica volcano. But it's against my philosophy to take a guide and hike with a herd of tourist. So I borrow some stuff (ice axes and crampons), and at 5 am I live from Pucon, walking on the road. Chance smiles to the daring one, after 1 hours, and just before the check point of administration, a lovely couple took me in his car. The man is a guide and helps me to pass the control. After that, I walk so quickly to the summit taht I arrive 2 hours before the other tourists : alone on my summit. I walk around the crater, discover the amazing view of the Patagonia around me. When the "others" arrive, my magic time disappears and I go down with a light heart, knowing that I totally merit the incredible pleasure.

I'm a traveler by bike, in December I was in South of France, and we slept under tents. On the morning a amazing think : snow is all around us. It's cold but we took this events like a gift from Nature. It's so lovely to see the landscape paint in white, go back to green in few minutes. I never see the snows melt so quickly...
