I've only traveled to a handful of different countries, but I absolutely loved my time in each of them. I believe that traveling is a fantastic way to educate oneself on the different cultures of the world. I love meeting new people, making new friends, and sharing stories that expose the differences between various cultures. I especially enjoy meeting people local to the area, as I find that they are able to share interesting and authentic experiences.

Maybe not amazing, but interesting for me at least: Traveling alone in Japan really opened my eyes to differences between cultures. Despite being a Canadian-born Asian, I noticed a stark contrast between North American Asian people and Asians born in Asia.
