Coffee or drunk.
2002-2006: studies in dresden (ancient history, medieval history, philosophy)
2006-2010: living in frankfurt, finishing my studies, doing almost any job there was to find, starting my phd
2010-2012: moved to vienna, continuing my phd, travelling to dresden every 2 weeks because I was teaching at the university
2013: moved to my home village close to freiburg, to my family. still working on the phd, developing board games, coaching goalkeepers, splitting firewood, arguing with my dog...
since 2015: still there, still the phd and the firewood. most of my time went in our refugee football team then, check us out:
2017: moved back to dresden to finish this phd thing this year. it's about humor in homer, more or less.
I'm a happy sceptic, or so I was told.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host if I can, I surf, I drink coffee and I drink drinks. Sometimes I maybe.
I surfed couches in Germany, Austria, Greece, Italy and Romania, and hosted many guests in Frankfurt and Vienna. My experiences are 100% positive. If you made bad experiences you choose the wrong people or the wrong people choose you. Think about it and talk it over with your psychologist :P.
Seriously: I met wonderful people. From strangers who were dropping in 2:00 at night for a short nap until their next airplane at 6:30 to people who were becoming close friends, and still are, many years later.
Reading, writing, watching, listening, people, friends, strangers, conversations, theatre, philosophy, history, art, politics, society, photography, playing, working, collectivism, individualism, dualisms, other isms, logic, sitting on roofs, coffee,... or, in one word, football. oh, and irony...
