About Me

Hi to everyone!
I’m a PhD candidate in Sustainability and Transport Engineering in Rome, I'm from Reggio Calabria (southern Italy) but I started to live here in Rome in November 2025. Still figuring out the city, but we could do that together!
Mon–Fri, 9 to 5: responsible academic citizen.
After 5: Doing things for the plot, collecting crazy memories, and building a chaotic lore one episode at a time.

I’m half English, half Italian, and my accent is… aggressively present :p

Easy-going, open-minded, always up for adventures and good conversations.

Oh, and I love cooking for my guests! Worst case scenario you might leave with a full stomach and a new side quest achieved.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing feels like a chaotic way to make friends from different parts of the world, share cultures and stories, and turn “maybe one day I’ll visit” into an actual trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fav Music: Heavy is the Crown by Linkin Park, Eventually by Tame Impala, Die Young by Lil Texas, Let Down by Radiohead and End of Beginning by Djo.

Fav Books: The myth of Sisyphus by Camus, The moustache (I baffi) by Carrère and White Nights by Dostoevsky

Not a huge fan of films, but I am always open for any recommendation!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did my Erasmus in London and lived in a hostel for 2 months (London is expensive asf). By the end of it, it felt weird being the one who had to leave. I got so used to people coming and going that I didn’t expect me to be the one saying goodbye.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook some Italian classics, help you practice (or improve) your Italian, and even join you for a workout (I’m a big gym-goer).
Plus, I come with a solid package of crazy stories, and I’m always happy to listen to yours too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love analogue photography and I have recently bought a Instax Mini 90 . I can take crazy instant shots so our memories can be put on a wall.

I’m also happy to bring a small Rome gift (usually Italian snacks/appetizers). And for smokers: I’m up for swapping cool cigarette pack designs from our countries.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Belgium, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
