I strongly believe that visiting a country isn't about going and checking all the popular places (e.g. tourist attractions) or by having an opinion about the place only from visiting the dowtown. I also disagree that you can call yourself a passionate traveler only if you have dozens of countries visited.

I consider myself a passionate traveler. Because being a passionate traveler for me is about experience. Being able to open all your senses is a magical feeling: to be able to see more than the first picture that shows up into your way, to hear more than the street sound, to understand the body language beyond language barriers, to smell all kinds of flavours around you and to taste the food in order to identify the ingredients.

Traveling is also about understanding yourself and the new culture you are in. It will be really easy to say "I don't like them", but the challenge is to understand why, in a very personal level, you didn't enjoy that and try to understand from where it comes a habit that you noticed it there.

It's a very good chance for me to meet people from different places, cultures, nationalities. I enjoy particiating to the events organised here and exploring the city I am in with the help of the locals
