Hi, I’m Ghafoor Fereidooni, born in April 1983. Originally from Bandar Abbas, I currently live on the beautiful island of Qeshm in southern Iran.
I have a deep appreciation for meaningful conversations and authentic human connections. My personality leans toward the philosophical side, and I enjoy meeting people who are open-minded, curious, and kind-hearted.
Though I’m new to Couchsurfing, I’ve always been interested in connecting with travelers and learning from different cultures, lifestyles, and ways of thinking. I believe that every person carries a story worth hearing — and I’m here to listen.
سلام، من غفور فریدونی هستم، متولد فروردین ۱۳۶۲. اصالتاً اهل بندرعباس هستم و در حال حاضر در جزیره‌ی زیبای قشم زندگی می‌کنم.
عاشق گفتگوهای عمیق و ارتباط واقعی با آدم‌ها هستم. شخصیت من بیشتر به سمت تفکر فلسفی متمایله و از آشنایی با افراد روشن‌فکر، کنجکاو و مهربون لذت می‌برم.
تازه به کوچ‌سرفینگ پیوستم، اما همیشه دنبال فرصتی بودم تا با آدم‌های جدید آشنا بشم و از فرهنگ‌ها و سبک‌های زندگی مختلف یاد بگیرم. باور دارم هر آدمی داستانی برای گفتن داره — و من مشتاق شنیدن اون داستان‌هام.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I’m passionate about meeting new people, sharing experiences, and making real connections across borders. I believe the world becomes smaller and kinder when we welcome strangers as friends.
Hosting travelers gives me the chance to introduce them to the culture, nature, and cuisine of southern Iran, especially the charm of Qeshm Island.
من به کوچ‌سرفینگ پیوستم چون عاشق آشنا شدن با آدم‌های جدید، تجربه‌های تازه و ارتباط‌های واقعی هستم. به نظرم وقتی غریبه‌ها رو به چشم دوست ببینیم، دنیا جای بهتری می‌شه.
میزبانی از مسافران این فرصت رو بهم می‌ده که زیبایی‌های فرهنگ، طبیعت و غذای جنوب ایران رو نشونشون بدم — مخصوصاً جذابیت‌های خاص جزیره قشم.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunset over the Persian Gulf from the shores of Qeshm Island — the sky was painted in gold, orange, and silence. It was a moment that made me feel both small and deeply connected to the universe.
تماشای غروب آفتاب در ساحل جزیره قشم، کنار خلیج فارس — آسمون با طلا و نارنجی و سکوت نقاشی شده بود. اون لحظه باعث شد هم کوچیکی‌مو حس کنم، هم پیوستگیم به هستی رو.

I may arrive as a guest, but I try to bring the spirit of home with me.
I love to cook, so if you enjoy food, I’d be happy to prepare a homemade meal and share a taste of southern Iran with you.
I’m a good listener and enjoy deep or light conversations, depending on your mood. I also keep things tidy and respect your space and privacy.
If there's anything I can help with — from cooking to cleaning to simply sharing stories — I’m always open.
To me, Couchsurfing is not just about a place to stay, but about real connection.

من ممکنه به‌عنوان مهمان بیام، اما سعی می‌کنم روح خونه رو با خودم بیارم.
عاشق آشپزیم، پس اگه غذا دوست داری، خوشحال می‌شم یه غذای خونگی خوشمزه از جنوب ایران برات درست کنم.
شنونده خوبی‌ام، و به گفتگوهای عمیق یا سبک، بسته به حال‌و‌هوای میزبان، علاقه دارم.
مرتب و تمیزم و به حریم خصوصی و قوانین خونه احترام می‌ذارم.
