About Me

I have been living away from home in the last 10 years or so, for work reasons, and I enjoy seeing the world but I miss to be strongly rooted in a set of affective and intimate social relations. When and where this happens, I call that place home. I love meeting people and engage in discussions, sometimes even more with those I don't agree with. I love to walk, hike, bike, read, travel, watch movies and I'm a maniac about good food, although -and only in that domain - I'm a nationalist: I could eat ONLY italian pasta for a year and I'd be happy. I am a basketball fan. I am madly in love with the sea, especially the mediterranean and small islands, and someday I will run away to one of those.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Due to work reason, I can't travel for pleasure that much any more. I got to think that I might keep traveling through other people, hosting them and letting them telling their stories, see what they've seen through their own words.
...and when I do get to travel, I'm always happy to meet new people, get off the usual tourist circuit and inhabit the spaces where people live, work, eat, sleep, love, share my life with them and let them share theirs with me.
