👋 Hey there! I'm Giacomo, born and raised in Genova recently back in Liguria after years of wandering between Milan, Rome, and a few short adventures abroad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve had the chance to experience the value of sharing not just through platforms like Couchsurfing, but in many different contexts throughout my life. Whether it was a shared meal, a spontaneous hike, or a creative project with strangers who became friends, these moments taught me that connection is everything.

In a world that often feels increasingly individualistic, I believe it’s essential to support and grow a culture of sharing. Couchsurfing is one of those rare spaces where generosity, curiosity, and openness still thrive and I want to be part of that.

Outside of work, I try to keep my creative side alive: I love hiking in the mountains, foraging in the woods, cooking with what I find (or grow), gardening, and building things with my hands.

I’ve done quite a few trips ( some on foot, some on wheels) and I love sharing travel stories. I’m also pretty familiar with the history of Genova and Liguria, and I’d be happy to show guests around, whether it’s a walk through medieval alleys or a hike in the hills nearby

What I Can Share with Hosts

My home is open to guests! All shared spaces are available and I’ll try ti do my best to make you feel comfortable. If you're up for it, I’d be happy to spend some time together in the evenings or over the weekend, whether it’s chatting, cooking, or exploring the city.
