Hello! I'm GiGi, I live on a farm called El Paraíso, nestled in the beautiful Colombian mountains.
My purpose as the guardian of Finca El Paraíso is to maintain a balance of respect and care for animals, the environment, and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My Home, Finca El Paraíso.
I am here to offer and share with international travelers a space in this beautiful place with spectacular mountain views, fruit trees, medicinal plants, and many species of animals and birds. We have spacious shared spaces where you can enjoy a beautiful experience connected to nature.

What do we do at Finca El Paraíso?
We have 3 hectares of fruit tree plantations, which are connected by trails where you can hike.
We work to maintain, plant, and harvest our plantations.
We also rent one of our houses to tourists, so the cleanliness, organization, and repairs of the spaces are essential to keep the place in good condition so that everyone can enjoy the farm.
We also spend time with our pets and the animals that live on site.

If you are a traveler planning to visit Colombia, you are a respectful, proactive, adventurous person who wants to have a wonderful experience in the mountains and also save on accommodation. I invite you to be part of this beautiful place and leave your mark on it.

Mi Hogar la Finca El Paraíso.
Estoy para brindar y compartir al viajero internacional un espacio en este hermoso lugar con vistas espectaculares en las montañas, arboles frutales, Plantas medicinales, animales y aves de muchas especies. Contamos con espacios amplios compartidos donde se puede disfrutar de una hermosa experiencia conectado con la naturaleza.

Que hacemos en la Finca el paraíso?
Tenemos 3 hectáreas de plantación de árboles frutales, que están conectados por Caminos donde puedes hacer trakyng.
Trabajamos por el mantenimiento, siembra y cosecha de nuestras plantaciones.
Tambien Alquilamos una de nuestras casas al turista, por lo que la limpieza, orden, las reparaciones de los espacios es primordial para mantener el lugar en buenas condiciones y que todos podamos disfrutar de la Finca.
Además pasamos tiempo con nuestras mascotas, y animales que viven en el lugar.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently dedicated to ecotourism. Although I'm a fashion designer, I try to bring a touch of art and design to the spaces at Finca El Paraíso to offer a beautiful, comfortable, and natural environment for tourists.
Over the past year, I've learned skills such as pool maintenance, planting, and harvesting fruit trees. I've also learned construction and repair techniques.
I love nature, life, and respect for different cultures and ways of thinking.

Actualmente me dedico al EcoTurismo, aunque soy diseñadora de moda, intento llevar un poco de arte y diseño a los espacios de la finca El Paraíso para poder brindar un lugar bello, confortable y natural al turista.
El último año e aprendido habilidades como el mantenimiento de piscinas, Árboles frutales, siembra y cosecha. También aprendí técnicas de construcción y reparación.
Amo la naturaleza, a la vida y el respeto entre culturas y formas de pensar diferentes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a visitor and volunteer, you'll be able to put your teamwork skills to the test and make a positive impact on the environment with your actions, even if they seem small.

Being part of our Finca El Paraíso project will allow you to learn tools and techniques used in fruit tree care, planting, and harvesting. You'll also learn about pool maintenance, masonry restoration, painting, and gardening.

Our volunteers can choose, organize, and manage their time flexibly. Work will be done on agreed-upon days, morning or afternoon, according to their needs and possibilities. They must adhere to the established number of hours and workload.

You'll have plenty of free time for personal projects and to enjoy our facilities, including a pool, board games, ping-pong, and billiards, relaxing in the hammocks, having a bonfire at night, or using our BBQ.

Cómo visitante y voluntario podrás poner en practica tus habilidades de trabajo en equipo e Impactar de manera positiva con tus acciones en el medio ambiente, aunque parezcan pequeñas.

Estar en nuestro proyecto de la finca el paraíso vas aprender herramientas y técnicas utilizadas en el cuidado de árboles frutales, siembra y cosecha, también aprenderás sobre el mantenimiento de piscinas, y restauración de mampostería, pintura, jardinería.

Nuestros Voluntarios podrán elegir, organizar y gestionar su tiempo de manera flexible. El trabajo se hará en los días acordados, mañana o tarde, segun sus necesidades y posibilidades. Cumpliendo con la cantidad de horas y trabajo, determinados.

Tendrás mucho tiempo libre para tus proyectos personales Y disfrutar de nuestras instalaciones, piscina, juegos de mesa, ping pong, billar, descansar en las hamacas, hacer una fogata en la noche o usar nuestro BBQ.
