Hi, I'm Giorgia.
I am a curious and open minded person. I like to meet people from many different countries, cultures and religions, hoping to creat a true friendship. I am sure there are no barriers for such a bliss as friendship! Even though saying goodbye to people is though, I am grateful for having them at some point of my life and I believe that one day we will meet again!
After my graduation in Business Administration I participated trough the European Solidarity Corps in a volunteer project in Portugal, a path that allowed me to make new friends, stimulating my skills, especially the socials and linguistics ones; the fact of meeting different people and getting in touch with different cultures helped me to have a broader vision and a more open mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use CouchSurfing because i think it'an amazing app, to have different cultural experiences is the best part of the game. Hosting someone you don't know anywhere in the world at home and this cross-cultural bridge event is amazing. Taking with your hosts, getting to know them will teach you more about the country you travelled to than any tour you might be join. Staying with people who live a completely different lifestyle also allows you to improve yourself.

Music, Movies, and Books

The last book i read was the washing machine instruction, a very heavy plot. Oh no! I'm kidding, it was the dishwasher booklet, only for brave people. Step aside I really like Orwell's books, such as 1984, animal farm, and keep the aspidistra flying. How about movies? I'm a Tim Burton and Nolan's fan, I like extravagant movies.
