About Me
* HOSTING AGAIN, just request, and I'll reply quickly (if I get a notification)*
Hi,
I'm Giorgio, or any other name that comes up that twisted mind of yours, I'm Italian (no funny accent, sorry to disappoint you).
I don't drink alcohol. Saying it early, and out of context, so that people stop offering me drinks in their requests. You are very welcome to drink whatever you like.
I'm just trying to embrace the awkward, discover world oddities and those strange little creatures crawling all over its surface (mostly humans) even though I also hardly restrain myself from making contact with pretty much any dumb little creature I see.
I can be described as fun and enterprising, just as much as an egocentric prick, or squared and boring, so pick your poison.
I'm disgracefully spontaneous when it comes to life-changing decisions and extremely indecisive when it comes to picking dinner.
I'm most definitely not the kind of hippie, all-loving, ukulele playing, traveller that you often find on here (It's fine if you are, I just don't love living stereotypes).
Things I worry about:
MYSELF, the meaning of life, but most importantly, WHY DO FRENCH PEOPLE HAVE AN AVERSION TO READING MY PROFILE?! (I'm ready to take this off as soon as I get 2 french requests in a row that read it, aka NEVER)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To have random people coming to my place to provide me with free, unrestricted entertainment and help further procrastinate whatever I'm currently procrastinating.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not using this section to feed my ginormous ego
Teach, Learn, Share
I lived here since 03/2020, I know the city better than most and can happily show you the absolute best spots in town.
I also thought how to drive motorbikes to the most hopeless cases
Ultimately, I am fairly picky, so I'll teach you how not to request me and you'll learn and share it with others:
Firstly, we all know that most of you are just looking for a free sleeping spot, I have been there myself. In your request, do me the kindness NOT to try to desperately find common grounds with me, as you are unlikely to succeed. Just be yourself, and I might be curious about our differences.
Please don't make your request too short, nor write a copy-pasted scroll...
I will read your profile, so just write anything relevant that was omitted there.
Don't be formal. It's not a job interview.
Do not request for more than 1 person unless you are very poor.
Do not think that being Italian, speaking Italian, or your inexplicable love for Italy will help your request, quite the opposite.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If awkward silences, followed by ambiguously direct questions and oddly intense starring sessions, are somehow something you are fond of... Chances are, you may actually enjoy this :)
