ABOUT ME

I'm a glass artist currently living and working in cleveland ohio. I have a job at Cleveland Institute of Art as the technician, which basically means I run, fix, and build all the equipment in the studio. The institute of art has somehow decided it would be a good idea to pay for me to go to Amsterdam, I know, seems crazy, but they are shelling out the cash for my plane ticket. In return I have a great deal of research to do in regards to the glass community in Amsterdam, and I am setting up some time to spend with one of Europe's best furnace builders in Amsterdam. So anyway, to set aside my crazy rambling, I am trying to find a place to crash. I'll be in the city for 10 days, but I don't expect someone to deal with me that whole time. I just don't want to have to deal with paying for hostels every night.

Honestly, I don't know much about it. I'm a little hesitant to have someone stay at my house, but if need be I can be quite accomadating. i don't know why anyone would want to come to Cleveland though.

I like all kinds of stuff, I'm big on music and have a diverse taste. I like all kinds of art and crafts, and other than that I geuss I'm an outdoors kinda guy.

Well hmm...music i geuss some stuff is Tom Waits, the decemberists, Radiohead, Nick Drake, billie holiday, modest mouse.
Movies, Fight Club, The motorcycle diaries, the green butchers, Amelie, punch drunk love, the life aquatic.
books, i read a lot of art books, they are kinda boring, but I get really interested haha

Teach, Learn, Share

you know its hard to say what to say here. i suppose i expect that anything could really happen. I have a lot on my mind usually, so I geuss any surfing would lead to teach, learn and share somehow.
