ABOUT ME

I'm Aries from Taoyuan, Taiwan. I love travelling but never know why. I started collecting information of Aussie working holiday when I was a junior student, and focused on saving money. It was a hard and memorable experience. After I finished the army service, I took off to my first stop, Brisbane QLD...... Many many true friendships I met during the year. I didn't earn much money, but I travelled all eastern coast. Yeah, no doubt it's the attitude of working holiday. Now I've worked about three and a half year in my hometown. I quit my job and I'm gonna begin working holiday in my country. Actually people around me think I'm crazy even stupid. How about you? People in the same age as me now are all working hard for keeping their so-called life quality. Everyone does everything for desire. Feel free to release myself then enjoy the freedom and the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got the information of couchsurfing from the internet few years ago. I like to make friends, and travel around the world. I applied to be the member and enjoy it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couchsurfing experience. Actually I tried to be a host, but I think my house is a little bit long distant from Taoyuan International Airport. It's not the best place to stay, especially travellers who wanna go to Taipei.
I live in Taoyuan County, same as the airport. Though it's not the first choice to visit, I have to introduce my hometown, Longtan, Taoyuan. If you are interested in
Hakka culture, Longtan is an extremely good town I recommend. Then taste Hakka cuisines. You are bound to have the most memorable travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like western pop music, sometimes buy albums to support singers or bands. I think my favourite singer is Lene Marlin from Norway. Her music style is quite free and easygoing, and she is very creative, the composer is almost her. I like creative singers and bands, such as Coldplay, Maroon 5, Sixpense None the Richer, and so on.
