Hi, I’m Goda — an artist and singer-songwriter based in Vilnius, Lithuania.
IIt’s been a while since I last used Couchsurfing, but I’m setting out on a new journey into the unknown and plan to travel more again after spending years fully dedicated to my music career. Sorry for being inactive for so long!

I wander through the world with a notebook in my hands and a voice ready to echo what I see and feel. I love travelling, meeting new people, and getting caught in unexpected rendezvous when everything aligns just right. Sharing moments together or weaving them into songs, stories, or spontaneous performances.
Curious, open-hearted, and always learning, I’m drawn to people and the many ways they make life full of meaning.

I’m passionate about exploring creativity in many forms. I love trying out different instruments and jamming spontaneously, as well as writing my own music. I’m drawn to free, improvisational dancing, where I can fully express myself through movement. I also enjoy freeform painting, writing, and immersing myself in poetry and prose. Languages and different cultures fascinate me — I love discovering how people around the world express themselves and experience life.

Music: I’m inspired by a wide range of sounds — from the dreamy textures of Sigur Rós, Björk, and Elisabeth Fraser, to the psychedelic worlds of Tame Impala, Temples, Gorillaz, MGMT, and Pink Floyd. I love the timeless energy of Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley, Stevie Wonder, and Aretha Franklin, as well as the soulful depths of Sarah Vaughan, Billy Joel, Don McLean, and the cinematic beauty of Yann Tiersen.
Films: I’m drawn to visually striking and emotionally intense films — especially by Michael Gondry, Wes Anderson, David Lynch, Tim Burton.
Books: I love exploring complex inner worlds through literature — especially works by Jurga Ivanauskaite, Remarque, Edgar Allan Poe, Hermann Hesse, Gabriel García Márquez, and the psychological insights of Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Jung and Freud.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the most unforgettable moments of my life was presenting my 2nd album in St. Catherine’s Church — a place I had dreamed of performing in for six years, secretly thinking it might never happen.
That night, I stepped onto the stage with a full band and a 25-piece ensemble, including a gospel choir whose voices soared through the church. The place was packed — and the air was electric.
As the music rose and echoed off the stone walls, it felt like time dissolved. The energy was wild, raw, and pure — like the whole space was alive and breathing with us. It felt like the church is happy to welcome us too.

Also, I hitch-hiked all cross from Warsaw down to Gibraltar on my own :')

I can teach how to sing and express your voice with confidence, or release supressed voice through a somatic practise. Also, guide you through the basics of playing guitar and piano.
I’d love to share the beauty of the Lithuanian language — one of the oldest Indo-European languages — along with my stories from traveling and my experience in analog photography.
I can also teach how to use a film camera and how to write your first poem.
Cooking food is also a thing I love love love to do!
