I would describe myself as a very determined and highly motivated person. I do take my job seriously but I’m able to see things in perspective and believe I’m quite easy-going to work with. I’m an optimist rather than a pessimist – but I’m also a realist and I cope well when the going gets tough; I’m very good at finding solutions to problems. Above all, I would say I’m a positive and enthusiastic person – and I relish a challenge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because couchsurfing is about having a cultural exchange. Host or guest are both part of this for me still unique experience. An open mind, trust and respect are basics to make it work. To me it is not important if a guest is able to host....making a connection is what it is about. Try to become in one way or the other part of our family life...

Don't ever stop learning. Read, experience, experiment, test, and share. Learn so you can share what you know with others. It is the best way to move forward. Too many people try and create a persona for themselves they hope will be perceived as irreplaceable. Don't be one of them. Your value is in sharing knowledge, not hoarding it. You will be much happier because you won't be constantly looking over your shoulder, wondering who's sneaking up to replace you. You'll be too busy concentrating on the steps above you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am going to give them a nice bed, their own room, usually entertain them. I usually like to spend some time with my guests and to show them the city...:)
