ABOUT ME

I work in art and film and love meeting people doing the same. I love talking hours away about everything and anything. I am amused by Anything. I have to laugh a lot in a day (not mental). I am friendly and helpful. I can be shy but I try not to let it get in the way of having fun. I am always eager to help when I am a guest. I get very inspired when I travel. I write and draw little pictures so you may be happy to be included in some artwork! I have a blog that I update with work here http://grainnemchale.blogspot.com/

PHILOSOPHY

You can do anything you want to do as long as it doesn't interfere with someone else's free will. I am only happy when i am learning and, well, you can't not learn anything in a day so i guess you could say i am happy being awake. I'm also very sardonic - have to explain that in case anyone reading thinks I have disappeared up my own arse. But I mean well so it doesn't matter :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can cook, clean and be most helpful in peoples homes. I also know how to give people their space and am happy to listen if someone had a bad day :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not couch-surfed yet but some of my friends do it and have great experiences. I look forward to meeting new people and making friends.

Discussing anything someone wants to talk about really. I'm happen to listen. I like to talk about pretty much anything as long as it's interesting and educational. I don't enjoy talking politics, science, religion or current events because I don't like all the negativity and aggression involved. They are not topics I naturally gravitate towards anyway because they tend to breed arguments - they are personal in the wrong way and you never know who you are going to offend. I want to talk about interesting things that are unusual/surreal/funny and make people laugh. I really like to get to know someone's interests and discuss those things. I like to make a creative, playful atmosphere with a conversation. I'm Irish, I basically want to have the craic!
