CURRENT MISSION onward and upward ABOUT ME i'm a grad student at the university of iowa in law and urban and regional planning. i still spend most of my spare time trying to decide what to do with my life. i love traveling more than anything; i've been to china and mexico and all over the middle east (i studied in cairo, egypt for a semester), a good chunk of western europe, and i backpacked in central america for 6 months. i like reading, writing, playing a little piano, and climbing tall things. i lived in alaska for a summer, where i spent the summer working and hiking/backpacking in denali national park and the rest of the state... hm... i've been swimming in the arctic ocean...and i've slept in a cave in egypt, and jumped off a 60 foot cliff into the mediterranean sea in turkey. a couple of summers ago i bought a crappy sailboat and attempted (but failed miserably) to sail it down the pacific coast of mexico with my best friend. i also LOVE arrested development and it is a daily struggle to come up with original humor because of it. sorry i'm not verified. i'm new to couchsurfing but i did start the whole verification process, i just lost my confirmation letter. it's somewhere in my room, which will be excavated at the end of july when i move to a new apartment.
