CURRENT MISSION ^o^; To make the most of my time in Japan. ABOUT ME I'm an American guy who has lived in Japan for a little over three years. In college I studied landscape design and Asian studies and entered Japan with the idea of studying Japanese gardens in my free time while employed as an assistant English teacher with the goal of returning to America and starting a company specializing in Japanese garden design and construction. However, with each passing month I live here, Nara becomes more and more my home. I've met so many fantastic people here who have become my good friends. Now I'm not sure if I'll ever leave!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING ^o^ Take a look at my blog to get some ideas for your visit to Japan. I'd be happy to tell you about my favorite spots to visit in Nara, Kyoto, and any other place I've managed to visit in my travels of Japan. If you want to stay in Nara, I have space, and if I can't show you around myself, I'll help you make plans and get a guide!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I fell off a cliff once, fortunately I caught a tree limb on the way down.
