I am a 60 year old male looking to travel and learn as much as possible. I am a native of Eugene, Oregon and was a teacher and Park Ranger for the Nation Park and US Forest Service for over two decades. I have wandered to Seattle where I work for an airline and have the ability to travel all over the world on a whim. I am still new at this travel game, and I am absolutely addicted.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
On occasion, I enjoy wandering and travel by myself. I am in excellent physical condition and can move quickly with little planning. The more, the better! Locals can share their city way better than the travel brochures.

I enjoy country and rock music, but I love most music. I always carry headphones and a speaker.

Oh goodness. This list is long! My favorite place to go thus far is Iceland.

I am a retired educator and tour leader from all over the Pacific Northwest. I have worked for the National Park Service at Crater Lake, Redwoods, Olympic National Parks. I also worked at Mount St. Helens and Wallowa Lake in Oregon.

My Interests
I am an airline employee and travel essentially free to most US locations on long weekends. Vacations are filled with more international adventures. I am always traveling on a budget....so I can travel more!
