I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. After finishing college in 2001, I moved to New York City for five years. I returned to New Orleans in early 2006 to help my family rebuild in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In 2006 I moved to Houston to run a nonprofit foundation. In September 2015 I decided to resign and start a new life. For the first time I started focusing on my real passions: yoga, meditation, exercise, cooking, traveling, exploring, hiking, boating, and of course health/nutrition. I traveled to Goa, India, in December 2015 to get certified in yoga.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently, I'm traveling the world in hopes of learning more about myself, cultures, countries, people, food, yoga, and the list goes on and on. I feel like it's impossible to do this by staying in hotels. That's the reason I decided to join.
