About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Searching for everyday enlightenment by meeting extraordinary people

ABOUT ME

a lone wolf, slightly cumpulsive; impulsive, always inviting metamorphisis, dying and being reborn daily, compassionate, fair, ready for a journey...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hold fast to the idea of community and I feel that most through travel. The creation of bonds and networks connecting us on a higher level is just a simple evolution of such a community...I just want to provide a lily pad for whoever navigating through this giant pond of a world. Yeah CS2 Project!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not enough, 2x too few. I traveled the most during the 90's before the CouchSurfing phenomena. I lived off a steady diet of Lonely Planet guide books and networking when I got to my destination. I fell in love with hostels because of the feeling of one world, new worlds...people that I would never cross paths with

My house is off the beaten path, so I haven't had the honor of having a surfer to host. I've had some bites, but either due to timing or change of plans, it just hasn't been in the cards. I look forward to when the planets line-up and I can host :)

Interests

everything...I have a jack of all trades curiosity with a voracious desire to touch the source of all realities that are present and hidden.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list but I'll give it a go: documentaries, indie, any movie with a strong poignant message. I like witty and dark comedies, pretty much any movie that make me use my head while being entertained. (I like to multitask) Music, I can't get enough of it. Make me dance, mellow or motivate, doesn't matter. What would I do without libraries? I'll read anything when in the mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For two weeks I worked in a Krishna restaurant in Cusco, Peru for food when I realized I hadn't brought enough dinero, I volunteered on a finca in Ecuador for a week; slept in their cheese factory, Raced down the side of Isla del Sol in Lake Titicaca by moonlight to drink from probably one of the only potable springs in Bolivia, Almost got deported from Bolivia...

Teach, Learn, Share

At any given moment I will make an origami crane. Yah, I'm that good.
