-Play fight (it’s so fun)
Not a fan of:
-cats
-tomatoes

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are wired to connect with others. I appreciate what makes another person unique, and I'd rather make a new friend and see a new place through his/her eyes than bounce around hostels.
On the flip side, it's also an opportunity to make new friends with people when they come my way. Anyone who comes through Tangier must be on some sort of adventure, I imagine, and I'd love to get to know them.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a "little bit of everything" kind of guy. As a musician, I try to have a broad appreciation, but I'm partial to choral music, blues guitar music, and 90s-2000s American pop/rock.
I'm not much of a movie watcher, but I have some random favorites:
Liar Liar
Happy Gilmore
The Departed
Shawshank Redemption
Nobody
(There are definitely other movies I loved but already forgot I saw them)
Same relationship to books as I have with movies. Usually reading articles, blurbs, or blogs about stuff that interests me, particularly human movement, philosophy, spirituality, psychology, and self-development. If I do read a book, it's usually non-fiction, unless highly recommended by a friend. Here are some I've read that I appreciate:
-The Oxygen Advantage
-10% Human
-Breath
-The Alchemist
-Daring Greatly
-Whatever You Think, Think the Opposite
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a hot air balloon ride over northern Thailand, and then almost died from the experience. Solid morning.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a born teacher, so anything I love to do, I usually love to teach as well:
-How to breathe better for health
-How to breathe better for athletic performance
-Music (Singing, guitar, beginner piano, ear training)
-Martial Arts and Self-Defense
-English and Spanish
-Fitness, movement, and body control
-How to make a killer omelette
-The magic of quality denim 👖
What I Can Share with Hosts
-Meaningful conversation
-A safe place to talk about controversial topics honestly
-An opportunity to make music with someone else (i.e. "Jam session")
-Language practice
-An open mind and an enthusiasm for connecting, traveling, and learning
I am certified as an integrative health coach, advanced breathing coach, master trainer, corrective exercise specialist, yoga instructor, self-defense instructor, Animal Flow instructor — and I LOVE sharing this with others :-)
