Hey/Cześć!

My name is George (Grzegorz), I'm 21 years old, working full time as a collection specialist and studying finance and accounting at a university in Warsaw, in which I've been living since Nov'17. For now. So far, I've managed to get to know this city a little bit and I'd be thrilled to show you around. Currently, I'm exploring the world in order to find the best place for myself and learn about other cultures. I would love to study somewhere abroad but I'm still doing a little bit of research on that. I think of myself as an independent individual, and I really like to visit all parts of the city—on foot, by public transportation, and on a bike. I’m incredibly open to anything. I’m a very positive person, spreading this energy all around. I’m gay friendly, kid friendly, pet friendly. Everything, anything. I value people based on their attitude towards the world, other people, and the environment. I’m really concerned about the latter and would love to talk about the issues connected with that.

I’ve lived in the United States for a few months because of my work at a summer camp. I finished my work at a summer camp around Richmond, VA on 13th August 2017, and then I set off to have experienced the best time of my life so far. I’ve traveled across the beautiful country of the United States to explore Atlanta, New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York where I finished my American journey.

Finally, I was able to make my dreams come true from the very childhood. I was very excited to travel the whole country just by myself. I was taking pictures like a madman! I'm super excited to meet new people who will be a part of my experiences! ALWAYS.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'd love to travel to places and get to know them from a local perspective! I want to learn about its people, custom in a natural way. I'm also very keen on my personal growth and exchanging thought-provoking ideas and concepts. Thanks to Couchsurfing, I made great friendships with people from all over the world. If it weren't for Couchsurfing, I wouldn't have experienced so many things. I wouldn’t have taken a large portion of photographs that constantly are flooding my instagram.

I'm keen on learning foreign languages and observing differences in various cultures. I love to notice similarities between languages and comparing them with one another. I'm interested in architecture, design, urban planning, demography. I like to know how cities work, how they’re planned, work, live - if you know what I mean. I'm also interested in the techno culture and I tend to be a subtle tech geek, I like to be up to date with all the tech news around the globe and technological solutions implemented in the infrastructure.

I like good, old cinematography. Given my age, I’m still a novice at that but am very keen on exploring and learning about films that should be watched. As I once noticed a street advertisement about films in a street, I cite what I read „films increase your appetite for life“ and I’m going to agree with this fully. Sometimes I poorly manage my time to squeeze in a film or two, but when I do, I make sure that watching a film will contribute to broadening my horizons, open my eyes to see world differently.

We can watch a film together, talk about cinematography, I’d be more than happy to learn about a film/films that I should watch.

I would say that coming to America to live for 4 months was completely amazing and shaped me to be a different person, more aware of the world! It widened my horizons and changed my way of looking at certain things. I had been traveling across the States by myself for thirty days.

I'm very eager to learn new things and get to know other people's beliefs and their perspectives on life. I can teach you how to take better pictures, I'll show you amazing music, I'll flood you with my views, beliefs, thoughts. I believe I'm an extrovert but it doesn't mean I cannot listen to people and relate to their stories. Please, do!

I'd love to share my pictures, experiences, stories, and world views and various beliefs with my hosts. I think even despite my young age, I think I still can astonish my speakers with some things. I’ve got great sensitivity within me. I’d love to tell you about my vision of the world, the universe and how I perceive all of it. I can teach you how I look at the tiniest things and how I can have so much joy and sheer pleasure even while looking at a bunch of flowers in a botanical garden.
