I was born in Sacramento, California, and grew up in Seattle, Washington. I've gotten to study in Istanbul, Berlin, and Rome, work in Vientiane and Chiang Mai, and now I'm in San Francisco at my dream job doing research on digital security and privacy.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

So many Couchsurfers have opened their homes to me while I was traveling over the past several years. Now that I have my own place and am relatively settled in San Francisco, I'm trying to pay back all that Couchsurfing karma.

兴趣

Anywhere I go, I try to go on a bike ride, see live music, and eat a home-cooked meal. I love going out for a long bike ride in a new place and just seeing where it takes me, and I think that riding a bike offers a point of view completely unmatched by cars, trains, planes, or any other form of transportation. I also sing and am rusty on guitar, alto sax, and flute. I'm always up to go out and see new artists, or even try to make some music. And, I think there's nothing like getting together and sharing meals with friends and family (mine or someone else's!).

I am also really interested in urban exploring. I am always down to explore a new spot. So far I've urbexed in and around Berlin (HIGHLY recommended) and Seattle, and I want to see more!
