Hi! I’m Gulzi — a curious soul, passionate educator, and language enthusiast from Uzbekistan. I’m a mom to a bright little girl who speaks three languages (yes, I started teaching her English from birth!). I love books, culture, thoughtful conversations, and discovering what makes people and places unique.

With over 12 years of experience in teaching and academic affairs, I’ve always been drawn to learning — about people, stories, and ideas. I speak English, Uzbek, Russian, and a bit of French, and I’m currently learning German too!

Outside of work, I enjoy dancing, reading, cooking, and connecting with others who see the world with open hearts and curious minds.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in real connections — beyond just travel or sightseeing. I love the idea of sharing stories, exchanging cultures, and creating memories with people who might become lifelong friends.

Whether I’m hosting or being hosted, I want to make the world feel a little smaller, warmer, and more human. I also want my daughter to grow up knowing that kindness and curiosity can open any door — no matter where you are.
