Overview
About Me
Genuine guy from Northern California. I spent five years in Boston, MA and now call Washington, D.C. home—the district that should be a state. I love most dogs (honestly, more than people). I’m mixed race, and my dad immigrated from Mexico, making me first-generation American.
I keep things clean—good hygiene, tidy, and respectful. I’m down to earth and value meaningful conversations and connecting with cultures and communities through food.
I’m a creative at heart and spend a lot of my time painting and working with mixed media and sculpture. I draw inspiration from contemporary and historical themes, and I love exploring how art can tell stories, challenge norms, and bring people together. I also enjoy live music, museums, being near the water, softball, cycling, and discovering new experiences.
I’m deeply passionate about advocacy, policy, and public health—especially supporting young people and equipping them with the tools to lead their generation toward a healthier and more just world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking to meet new people and enjoy new adventures. Learning through others’ lived experiences, food, adventures, and friendships is what I hope to provide and appreciate receiving. I’m here to truly learn and grow while forging new bonds with surfers.
I understand that whether I’m hosting or being hosted, we still have our lives (jobs, prior engagements, travel plans, etc.), so I hope to provide space for your independent exploration while hosting, and when being hosted, I can explore the city independently as well!
Please note: When requesting to stay, please include your arrival and departure times, as well as your arrival location (DCA, BWI, Dulles, Union Station, etc.). Requests without these details will not be accepted. If you’re unsure of exact times, just note “unsure at the moment”—it helps me plan my schedule.
Interests
I like to explore new sites, enjoy the outdoors, and visit dog parks (with my dog, of course!). I enjoy cycling, softball, and the beach—common theme: being outdoors. I’m drawn to open-minded, spirited, grounded people.
