Overview
About Me
I'm humourous, thoughtful, open, idealistic and very relaxed. I believe that life has no meaning except making the world beautiful for everyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like about CS that it requires personal involvement and that it's a community not run by corporations nor driven by money. I believe that sharing is better than selling or exchanging and I love meeting all these interesting and very different people. I feel truly blessed that they're bringing the world to my place and these 10+ years of hosting strangers and making them friends helped a lot in turning me into a happy person.
I receive way more requests than I accept so please don't feel insulted if I decline. I don't expect super elaborate and personal messages but please be aware that my name is not "Hi!" and write a little bit about yourself and the people you're travelling with.
Interests
I like literature, theater, arts, and architecture. Music is very important to me, especially electronic, alternative and other underground stuff. I go out to small concerts and clubs a lot but I also love my home. I couldn't live without cooking, baking bread, gardening in the middle of the city and doing things with my hands instead of just buying stuff. I love everything happening right here and now, off-line and in real time :-)
I'm also a political acivist, doing campaigns for alter-globalization, anti-corporate and ecological organisations. I'm neither a dogmatic nor a preacher though and I respect people with different views.
My "sacred six" are meeting friends, theater, yoga, making music, exploring Munich's exciting surroundings or lying in the grass with a book.

Music, Movies, and Books
Far too many to list here. I definitely prefer theater over cinema and reading over watching series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Yesterday I watched the laundry dry in the sun, that was pretty awesome.
