CURRENT MISSION

My perspective has started to change since 2019. Knowing one day we shall all die, there is no more excuse not to treat myself better and experience whatever I can. It's time now to pick up travelling again!

ABOUT ME

I think I'm a shy person at start, but my friends don't seems to agree (?!). An easy going and kind person who always love a laugh. Love to listen to people's stories, esp adventure travel stories. I like to meet new people, esp people from other countries. You can always learn something from the others.

PHILOSOPHY

Grew up in a place like Hong Kong, I brought up in a way that you always have to plan for your future. Ever since I left home once, I started to change. Live the moment and enjoy your life while you are alive :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Knew abt CS from a friend I traveled with years ago. Found it really useful to get to know the locals instead of backpackers from the hostels. It is always lovely to have someone to show or tell you how great the place they are living. I kind of fall in love with that place quite easily then. I then participated meetups in my home town and was amazed to realise how many foreigners were living in HK and called it home :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Loved my CS experiences while I was travelling and all the kind people who offered help for my trips. Enjoyed CS meetups in my home town. Love the fact that I can show others what HK has to offer except shopping. I have to admit CS helped to show how much I love my home town though I always want to get away from it.

兴趣

Nothing in particular as there is always fun doing different stuff. Anything from indoor to outdoor, as long as there is company. More into outdoorsy, adventurous stuff though. Enjoy scuba diving and hiking lately while travelling, though I am not good at all.
Love going out on the street for the local street food than heading to a restaurant for proper meal!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I guess quitting my job back home and go overseas to Australia for working holiday was just the most amazing thing I have done so far.
Watched the London Olympics 2012 LIVE!
Saw a turtle eating jelly fishes and dolphins swam and jumped pass the boat I was on and dived with a small group of sharks.
On a bicycle ride solo round Taiwan in 21 days.
Ran into a police station without having any accommodation booked in a small village, and being hosted by a superintendent in the end during the ghost festival in Thailand.
Hitchhiked and camped in Kyushu, Japan.
Done Camino de Santiago and Tour du Mont Blanc alone with some wild camping
