About Me

I love our planet and believe that all living things are very connected. I'm an activist for animal liberation, social justice, indigenous rights, and climate justice. I am anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-speciesist. I enjoy hugging animals and trees (ok, some humans too).

I'm an organizer in Austin with Direct Action Everywhere, Anonymous for the Voiceless, Extinction Rebellion, St. Andrew's Social Justice Committee, and Palestine Solidarity Campaign.

I love traveling. I want to experience the entire world and every culture! I enjoy hearing about other people's travel experiences and sharing mine :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because making new connections is gift and an opportunity to learn and grow.

It also makes travel more affordable and therefore more travel possible :)

I like to contemplate about the meaning of life and also how it feels for animals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Standing Rock and joined the indigenous struggle against the Dakota Access Pipeline. It was a life-changing experience that will stay with me forever. At Oceti Sakowin camp, I saw what kind of world is possible, what kind of world we need to strive for..

Teach, Learn, Share

Halfway through a long flight to the Middle East, I was at the back of the plane, stretching. A Sikh sage came there too and, out of the blue asked me "Are you enjoying your life?" I now check in with myself periodically about that and am grateful to the Universe for sending me that reminder.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A clean private bedroom with freshly laundered linens.
Company and friendship if time and chemistry allow.
Love to share food (vegan food only in my home, please).
