Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I don't have a couch right now, but I am happy to show you around my city and I am ever-grateful to you for introducing me to yours. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My first couchsurfing host in Vienna was wonderful and now I think it's the only way to travel. I love meeting couchsurfers in my hometown. And I am excited to get on the road again!

We were all hard at it in the boat Some of us up tightening sail, Some down at the heave and haul Of the rowing benches, deeply cargoed, Steady keeled, our passage silent, The helmsman buoyant at the helm; And I, who took it all for granted, Sang to the sailors. Then turbulent Sudden wind, a mealstrom: The helmsman and the sailors perished. Only I, Still singing, washed Ashore by the long sea-swell, sing on, A mystery to my poet self, And safe and sound beneath a rock shelf Have spread my wet clothes in the sun. - pushkin/ tr. heaney
