Hello! My best friend Alexis and I are new to CS and are currently backpacking Europe! We joined CS because we love exploring new cities and experiencing local culture with the locals(: We are passionate about trying new food, learning new cultures, and sharing our perspective with everyone we meet along the way!

We are both from New Orleans in the South of the USA, so we are experts at surviving Mardi Gras(: We adore sharing our unique lively culture of Cajun food and jazz music, and would be happy to share our favorite local tips to anyone who may ask! We are goofy gals, who love the word “y’all”, and are very proud of our hometown. And we have found that one of the best parts of traveling is how much you grow to appreciate your own home when you return.

We know we are new to CS, but we are excited to start meeting new people and making memories of a lifetime. We hope that others will be open to sharing their couches with us(:

We love to travel and explore new cities, especially from the locals perspective. Couchsurfing gives the opportunity to meet new people who share the same interests in traveling and exploring. We hope to meet some amazing new friends while backpacking our way through Europe, and also give back to those who travel near us!

We've both studied abroad in Europe for 6 months in France and Wales! We have gone hang-gliding in the Swiss Alps, and soon we will both have gone skydiving!

New Orleans is a lively city with so much rich culture. We can teach others some authentic cajun recipes, share our Mardi Gras experiences, or even give a tour of the NOLA area.
We both love to share our traveling experiences, and learn about others.
We have a huge passion for hiking and the beautiful outdoors, and would love to learn about the natural beauty of other cities.
