About Me

This box should be filled by all the people I've met through my life.

You can read my references down below.

Before I've leared that all this astrology stuff is a lie, after reading my zodiac sign description few times I eventually imprinted Gemini traits to myself.

Trying to figure out whether "you're thinking like a five years old" is a admiration or a criticism

By the way, I'm a student of psychology and a Corporate Security Officer :D!

Been workin' as a pro wiking recently.

"Beyond the "right-doing and wrong-doing there's a field, I'll meet you there."

"Father, what does regret mean?"

"Well, son, a funny thing about regret is, that It's always better to regret something you have done, than to regret something you haven't done.(...)"

"Self-development is the art of doing things which you don't feel like doing"

"Seek first to understand and then to be understood. Most people do not listen with intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just like the idea of sharing a moment of you life with somebody - you never know what's gonna emerge when two different humans meet. So far it's been good :D

Interests

I've got some problems with narrowing my fields of intrests. Everything I haven't tried yet is intresting.

I have a million and a one projects going usually. It is connected with my relatively short attention spans I guess.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently I like rock/indie rock music the most. Don't mind pop as well. Honestly, if a song is good I don't care what type it is.

I used to read a lot of fantasy books. Now I'm a fan of thrillers. I like to read philosophical books, contemporary prose and few other things :) The books I love can be distinguished to two categories: First is the type of book that sucks you up till dawn/the last page and you pray there is follow up. The other type makes you sit in a silence for a couple of minutes thinking: "The world is never gonna be the same again"

A good movie must make me feel some kind of emotion. Despair mixed with anger in "Seven". Love in Disneys "Lady and a Tramp"/"Beauty and the Beast". Fear in "Egzorcism of Emily Rose"/"Pranormal Activity".

I don't like romantic comedies. I appreciate documents.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

National Card Championships Finals. I wasn't thinkig about winning untill the very last moment. Then I just cried. From happiness.

Seeing Los Angeles by night during landing.

Most recent: Realizing that I don't have to. And I don't have to be afraid of not doing what others think I should.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's my curse and a blessing that I don't have any spectacular skill to actually teach but I'm a little bit interested in every aspect of life.

The more I think the more I find out...

Ok, I've got one skill. I can listen. I truly can.

I can teach you how to play non-existing-card-game.

I'm kind of guy that want's to swallow wikipedia, (thou it's not the best source of info), so I'm up to learning EVERYTHING and ANYTHING.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give you my time and attention. What happens then I do not know - we might go to a concert as well as read books together or do nothing at all.

I think I know my city quite well - was born and raised here.

I've got garden and cats and a dog - you can have as much of them as you want!

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
