About Me
UPDATE MARCH 2016: expecting a baby girl for May so taking a break from CS!
If you are just looking for a free place to crash DO NOT CONTACT US, this is not what CS is about for our family!
Family of 3 with a baby boy born in May 2014. We live in the french countryside, 15 minutes away from Geneva, Switzerland where we both work.
My husband is a Physical Education teacher (sports to make it easier ;-) ) and I'm working as an in house lawyer in an international shipping company.
We live very close to the mountains and enjoy outdoors activities, ski in the winter and hiking in the summer.
We love spending time with our friends and families (which unfortunately live far away) and enjoy having people at home for good meals.
I've grown up near Saint Emilion and Bordeaux, thus the wine is something we do like too!
We have 2 adorable chihuahuas 😄
We live in the countryside so YOU NEED A CAR

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm listening the radio in the car, so not very exciting!
One of my favorite music is the Bolero from Ravel, very moving.
Otherwise I love everything that makes me wanna dance!
My husband's movie is Gran Torino
I'm more a series fan (Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice or Revenge)
I love reading thrillers and recently have enjoyed "Gone Girl".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It all depends how one's translate "amazing".
If it's about a trip, I would say our honey moon in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Otherwise I would say my wonderful baby boy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Our philosophy of couchsurfing is reciprocity and exchange, here are a bunch of stuffs that do matter for us:
• It is our home, not a hotel, nor a restaurant, therefore if you are just looking for a place to sleep or eat for free, this is not the right place.
• We are happy to make dinner for our guests, but we expect you to take care of the following one! Same applies for lunch/breakfasts. They are plenty of supermarkets to buy food ingredients and our kitchen will be all yours! We can exchange cooking tips too! Ideally we try to cook something local to make you discovering our cuisine, if you can make something from your home country that would be very cool!
• We can lend you bed sheets, if you can bring your towels that is cool, otherwise we can work something out.
• We have a baby boy and 2 dogs, so you need to be kids and animals friendly.
• Before taking/using something, please ask!
