I am an adventure enthusiast, always exploring and trying to live outside the lines of the default world.

I'm up for anything (except downhill winter sports) and love meeting people, especially if you have shared interests and a positive, open-minded outlook on life. We have been given the incredible gift of time, and I want to do everything I can with mine. Some days, that includes an inner journey. Some days, it's hanging out with my cat. And others, that means getting on the next available flight to a new destination.

I find incredible moments of joy in pushing myself outside my comfort zone, being fearless, and being open to what the universe has to offer. I gravitate towards everything that makes me uncomfortable.

I hope I will always attract the right people into my life, but maybe I will also be the right person to walk into yours.

Music is everything. It's through going to concerts and festivals that I found myself. I also love reading, meditation, and yoga. They are great ways to escape to another world for a little while.

I used to be incredibly shy. I wouldn't even go shopping or to the grocery store alone without getting some anxiety. In August 2015 I booked a last minute trip to Vegas. I got tired of waiting for someone to want to travel with me, and it was the best decision I ever made. The trip started off terrible with my hotel reservation being cancelled when I got there and having no place to go. I think I sat in the hotel lobby crying for an hour because everything else was so expensive at this point. But I had been part of an online chat for Vegas and ended up making an amazing new friend who helped me out. In this moment I overcame my fear of the unknown and meeting with strangers.

I think life is meant to be shared and there is a lot we can learn from each other. I'm not on couchsurfing to just have a free place to stay, but because I genuinely enjoy meeting people and sharing time together. I prefer soul connections, friends we can be our most authentic happy selves with, without anything holding us back.
