About Me

I live in London, UK. I absolutely love meeting new people and am therefore in my element while travelling the world! Being a tourist doesn't really interest me, I want to meet people and learn about places through the eyes of those that live there. That makes the most sense to me.
I want to host people that are interested in hanging out a bit, to learn about them and exchange ideas and knowledge. I have a small living space and therefore want people there, that I can interact with, as this is why I'm on. Couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I want to experience places in more depth than hotels and even hostels provide. And I think the way to do that is through local people! I also love languages and am keen to learn and gain exposure to language in every country I go to. I get my energy from being with and talking to people so to stay with someone is my ideal way to travel.
I host because I love to share things and give people the experiences that I have had as a couch surfer! I want to welcome the world into my home because we are stronger together and we can learn so much from being more connected with eachother.
I host a podcast called The Therapeutic Travel Podcast, about making travelling more enriching for us (self-improvement and awareness) and better for the world and the environment! So if anyone would like to come on and talk about something they are passionate about then I'd really welcome that!
I am also keen on recycling, so old clothes can be left with me and I'll make sure they go somewhere useful, or maybe they can be swapped with other travellers as they come and go!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty open to all entertainment styles but I guess I love comedy (films, books and stand-up!), historical fiction, sports men and women's biographies and anything else inspiring! I also like reading books on lifestyle, health and nutrition. My music tastes tends to be more indie-rock I think, but when I name my favorite bands people put them in all sorts of different genres! Despite my preferences, I'll give anything a chance!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered with an NGO called Tuk Tuk Theatre/BBC in Cambodia while living with a local family. It was a truely amazing experience and I'll never forget it. The kids were so sweet and keen to learn and play and the insight I gained from spending time with the family was eye opening.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach Pilates and Yoga and have an interest in health, well being and nutrition that I am always happy to share.
I am keen to learn other languages but I generally just love learning and am open to learning most new skills!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Exciting conversations about life!
I enjoy vegan cooking, and am particularly keen to work with local ingredients. And I love animals so would be more than happy to look after pets if needed!
I can also teach Yoga, Pilates and meditation!
