About Me

I love Couchsurfing! Its simply the best way to get in touch with the people of another country, of another culture. This is why i travel, i want to get to know other points of view. I really love to learn from other people, cultures and countries. Also: i love to try out new tastes, new food, i simply love eating haha, so please let me see what the culinary variety of you country has to offer 😁

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is amazing! Never would i have experienced such local life and culture as i always do if i hadnt used Couchsurfing. For me it is oftenly the best part of the trip to get to know the local people and with Couchsurfing you have the best opprtunity for it. This is something i learned over time because i also have to admit that in the beginning i started using Couchsurfing because i didnt have the money for a hostel haha Now i do have it and i still use it always because its simply the best experience you can get!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

• The best thing in my whole life is being able to spend time with such amazing and lovely persons as my family and my friends
• The second best thing is being so privileged to be able to do that what i like to do, such as studying philosophy, travelling, etc. I am very thankful to be in this positions and wished everyone could be

Cool travel stuff
• Hiking 100km through dense jungle to visit the huge hidden maya city El Mirador in Petén, Guatemala 🇬🇹
• Driving with a bycicle through the Atacama desert in Chile 🇨🇱
• Swimming with a whale shark in Tofo, Mozambique 🇲🇿 (which was not fed but actually wild swimming around like those poor ones in Mexico or Indonesia, otherwise i wouldnt have done it)
• Swimming near to wild caymans in a jungle river in Pantanal, Brazil 🇧🇷
• Encountering a cheetah in Oudtshoorn, South Africa 🇿🇦
• Diving near to sharks in Bali and Flores as well as diving close to Mantarays in Flores (Indonesia) 🇮🇩, plus cage diving with a great white shark sight as well as seeing whales jumping in Gaansbai, South Africa 🇿🇦
• Swimming with wild dolphins in Egypt 🇪🇬 and Bali
• Visiting the famous endemic Komodo dragons
• a 3 months solo trip in Peru 🇵🇪a 2 months backpacking trip with my brothers trough Malaysia 🇲🇾 and Indonesia 🇮🇩, a 6 week solo trip around Mozambique 🇲🇿 Eswatini 🇸🇿 Lesotho 🇱🇸 and South Africa 🇿🇦 , single trips to Iceland 🇮🇸 Jordania 🇯🇴 and through Europe, 2 months backpacking with my siblings through Costa Rica 🇨🇷 and Guatemala 🇬🇹
(• i almost saw wild pygmy elephants in Malaysia 🇲🇾 , but sadly in the end we only followed a few days old poop trail of them haha)

Exotic food:
- ants in the northern rainforest of Peru (Iquitos)
- grubs in Borneo (Sabah), they were really disguisting haha
- Ostrich steak, Ostrich eggs and venison meat in South Africa, ostrich tastes insanely good
- a small shark in Mozambique (on some parts of the coast there are too many sharks who destroy the eco-sytem, so the very local fisherman are permitted to fish them to help rehabilitating the coastline, i was with a local who fished one out, these are permitted to eat for the locals, but not in restaurants)

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to be as calm as possible, not lie ever, i want to live a happy life without ever being concerned anymore. Nothing is more important than the people who are close to you, remember that it’s them not the things you should honor. I believe things cannot show you love and kindness. People can. Enjoy the time with them and help them. Dont stick too much on materialism in the end it wont matter anyway anymore. Que será será :)
Of course all this is easy said and i also have problems following this worldview but im on my way of achieving it

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a host: I can tell you the best places in my city and help you getting around through information , sadly i dont have a car so i cant take you around. But we can surely go drinking one time :) Btw i live in a small flat i hope you dont expect too much haha ^^ As a surfer: I would love to learn from you. Show me who you are an how your culture lives. I will always try to be completely respectful. I hope i can make the stay always as comfortable and enjoyable as possible :)
