About Me

Hi! I’m from Arna, just outside Bergen, and now living in Vadmyra. I work as a firefighter here in Bergen, doing 24-hour shifts, which gives me a lot of time off to travel, host, and explore. I also work a couple of days a month at the airport — just to keep things interesting.

I’m a dad, and when I’m not working, I spend a lot of time with my kids. I’m into bouldering, climbing, hiking, gaming, doing street art, and staying active. I’ve done martial arts for years and still have a lot of love for it.

I enjoy meeting new people and believe Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to experience real, local life — whether I’m traveling or welcoming someone into my home. I like things low-key, authentic, and chill.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling on a budget is part of it, but it’s really about connecting with people and getting a more honest view of the places I visit. I’d rather share a meal and a story with a local than stay in a hotel any day.

Interests

- Bouldering and climbing
- Hiking in the mountains or just wandering around new places
- Cooking and trying out new food
- Street art — both enjoying it and making it
- Gaming
- Martial arts (mostly background now, but it’s still part of me)
- Being social and having good conversations — deep or silly, both are welcome
-Learning — always curious about something new

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I host, I enjoy giving people that same kind of experience — real life in Bergen, not the tourist version

I love to cook and am always happy to make a meal (or help out in the kitchen). I can share stories, show you around Bergen’s less touristy sides, take you for a hike, or just hang out if you want to chill.
