ABOUT ME

I live in a unique area of Northern Ontario in the Mississagi River Valley. I run a B&B and Vacation Home Rental Business - The Mississagi River Valley consists of a series of lakes and rivers. According to Grey Owl the Mississagi River was no ordinary stream, but a very King among the rivers.The lakes, rivers and streams of this area provide hours of enjoyment for everyone of all ages with the canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and fishing boats. The fisherman have the opportunity of catching a variety of fish, including smallmouth and largemouth bass, walleye/pickerel. northern pike, whitefish, trout (lake, speckled, rainbow), and perch. This area is one of the top ten places in North America for walleye/pickerel fishing. Fall salmon fishing is done in the mouths of the Mississagi and Thessalon rivers. In the spring and summer canoe the quiet lakes or the scenic Mississagi and Little White Rivers, and in the winter snow machine on the groomed trails. Enjoy the spectacular scenery, capture the fall colours, listen to the calls of the loons, swim in the pristine waters, walk in an old growth forest and see millions of stars and with luck - the northern lights. Enjoy the Mississagi River Valley wilderness experience.

I have worked as a photographer in the First Nation Communities along the North Shore of Lake Huron and Manitoulin Island. I have been involved with a number of social justice issues regarding the native communities.
