I am English and Russian teacher and copywriter originally from the Czech Republic. I study terrorism in Russian literature and currently I am a lecturere of Czech language in Uzhhorod and on the hunt for a postdoc in comparative literature.

Because I find this way of meeting people a great opportunity to get to know something about someone you would never meet otherwise. I just like listening to stories and meeting other people who love travelling is one of the best option to hear the best ones.

I study literature which means I love books and reading. I enjoy going to theatre, hiking, swimming in rivers and lakes, exercising outside, martial arts. I also write a bit and of course I like travelling and meeting people

In general I prefer tragedy to comedy so in literature, cinema or music I always choose the darker side of art.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I am pretty modest in this respect so I am amazed by almost anything but as I live in Central Europe, I am fascinated by sea. I just enjoy different nature sceneries. Generally I prefer villages and nature to cities and hidden gems to spectacular touristic places.

I have an IG account Ugly Places which maps places some would mark as ugly but I find certain beauty in them. In my opinion ugliness has a very attractive aesthetic form which I try to unveil and share with others.
