ABOUT ME

Oh what should I say.....I am person who is alive and in. I want to explore this whole world before I kick the bucket. I do travelling as much as I can afford.....but when I do...trust me I thoroughly enjoy it...I love to interact with local people, eat their food, indulge in their culture and festivals. And yes while sending me a couch request or any other mail here on CS do send me a copy at guptahemant22@yahoo.com as well, because at times I am busy and / or travelling and do not get to access CS site and it will ensure that I respond quickly. I respect different point of views and ideas and me pretty open and peace loving person. All you travellers of the world are most welcome to see my country anywhere....anytime...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I started hosting guests fron Dcember 2007 and had a chance to meet some of the most wonderful people from across the world who taught me so many things and it was great to meet them and spend time with them. I have never visited any of them so far but I plan to start doing so from 2009 onwards...however my couch is available for travelers who pass by or need any information or help about traveling to India especially North India and Himalayas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had first hosting experience in the first week of December when me and my family hosted someone from Netherlands and trust me we all had a great time travelling, looking places, eating, chatting and knowing about each other....it was great.

Well I am very fond of all three.
Watching movies is in my blood. Watching it with parents since birth and I love all kind of movies, typical bollywood, hollywood, documentaries, new cinema anything and everything.
Reading takes max of my hobby time and right from newspapers to comics to literature I read a lot. I mostly avoid highly recommended authors / books and always hit the "fresh arrivals" in a book shop. Though there are many books by famous authors which I really loved. I hate self help books and books distributing "free management or other gyan."
Music is always on....and keeps on changing with mood, time etc. I love Hindi bollywood, pop, rock, country music, hard rock (sometimes), sufi music, quwallis, new age, music from different cultures and languages. Recently started liking jazz as well.

Oh so many....but latest is Manali- Leh road trip......wow it was amazing...out of the world...you all must do it.
