Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Call it mid life crisis :)
I actually discovered couchsurfing while still living in Paris, where I became used to hosting. I went to surfing myself more recently and found it awesome. It’s a great way of experiencing a place, knowing people, sharing experiences. Definitely the best way to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely classical music, some contemporary jazz as well, a few good oldies. As for books, you'll see them by yourself, they're pretty much all over the place.
And... perhaps I shouldn't tell, but I can get addicted to TV series.

I can't think of having done anything really amazing, being a rather average kind of guy, I'm afraid... sorry about that, folks.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give an abridged course on French (or Lebanese) wines and teach some French recipes if you like to cook (provided you don't mind garlic): you'll never miss your mayonnaise, omelette or ratatouille again. Promise.
Learn? I’d like to learn everything about everything. Quite hopeless, indeed… but no doubt you’ll contribute.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experiences. Museums. Books. Music.
Of course a bed (linen included) and a bathroom (towels included).
A nice terrace where to smoke if you do, and to talk when the weather is fine. Not to mention food and wine and beer and... well, I’m afraid, basically anything drinkable.
