ABOUT ME

Doomed to fail trying to give you an idea of what I'm like in a few sentences BUT... I prefer to try new things rather than stick with what I know. I'm a chatty chatty man. Interested in everything & persistent in very little. I will try my best to be a tidy Couchsurfer although it's a little bit against my nature. Look forward to meeting everyone on here, Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to meet fantastic people and a great way to help make travel more accessible to people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have mainly used it as a traveller but when I get the chance to host I will do so as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used couchsurfing when I was hitch-hiking around Europe in summer 2013, it was brilliant then and I plan to keep using it and hosting people when I can.

Interests

Reading, going-out and dancing, most sports but particularly rugby & tennis, tons of different types of music, history, food and drink/cooking in a group, fancy-dress parties (any activity in fancy dress is instantly made better) travelling out of your comfort zone, saying yes, Longboarding, Yoga & a million other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Techno/Disco/Reggae/House/Soul/Funk/Jazz/Classical/Ambient/Hip hop. I'll happily listen to any music really except for heavy metal, it scares me a little.

I Am David was the book from my childhood that started me off reading. I read quite a lot of history books. 1982 by George Orwell was a book I just recently read that I thought was fantastic too.

I love so many films but my favourites are Django Unchained, Pulp Fiction & The Green Mile. I do really like good animation films/TV series too, Adventure Time is the one!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Inca trail, and seeing Macchu Picchu at the end of a weeks trek clearing through the mist.

Hitch-hiking throughout Europe for 3 months, everyone we met on that trip, through Couch surfing and hitch hiking was magical!

Been on South Korean, Bolivian and New Zealand TV! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach so many things as can everybody, I will just try to contribute to anything you want to learn about.

I will learn anything, i'm not fussy.

I'll share some stories/ideas/perceptions and hopefully make some new ones on the way.

I'm interested to hear & see peoples approaches to life, their philosophy, thoughts, experiences - I will share the same.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share lots of things but I will commonly find myself:-

Cooking meals; when I'm round someone's I can cook lots of different stuff.
Longboarding, always travel with my longboard so everyone is always free to have a go.
Music, I love hearing and learning about new music and it's always good to be able to show people great music that they end up loving too.
