ABOUT ME

Herb lives on a farm near Leongatha and Alex spends most of her time in Melbourne at University. Leongatha is 150 km South East of Melbourne. Herb spends his time doing farm jobs and looking after the land. Few things give us more joy than being able to watch the native birds enjoying the insects and other food collected in front of us while having lunch.

PHILOSOPHY

To enjoy this life seeing new things, experiencing new experiences and hopefully to maintain and help to create a better place for our future.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Herb lives in a large house and have plenty of space for visitors. Both Alex and Herb have in the past and would like to couch surf during our future travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Casual by word of mouth mostly. We have hosted many couch surfers, confirming our belief that CS is a great way to meet people and share life's experiences. We have found it to be a rich and vibrant community of people who wish to learn and gain new experiences.

兴趣

We live an interesting life, and have a high regard for alternative and sustainable technology and appropriate lifestyles. Protecting a little slice of the Earths fragile natural environment and habitat is a continuing concern and interest of ours.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Climbed Ayre's Rock, paddling the Franklin River in Tasmania and hiking the Routeburne Track in New Zealand. With Alex, ridden up and down possibly the longest escalator to the deepest underground rail station Arsenalna in Kiev, Ukraine.
