ABOUT ME

Hey there! I was born in India, but 18 years ago, I swapped Bollywood for Vegemite, and Australia became my new home. I’m a travel junkie and motorcycle enthusiast who thinks the best way to connect with people is by collecting epic stories together.

I’ve been CouchSurfing for a while now and love meeting fellow adventurers who also think passports are just fancy stamp books. Whether it’s cruising on two wheels or diving headfirst into new cultures, I’m always up for something fun. If you’re into travel, good laughs, and swapping tales over a coffee or beer, let’s hang out! 😄

I’m happily married to Ann-Katrin from Germany, whom I met through Couchsurfing. Our love story started with travel, and it’s been an incredible adventure ever since!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now that we have our own house, we would like to continue to host travellers from all around the world. I am working full-time, and I can only host during the weekend about once a month, so please don't feel bad if I have to say no to your request. I just want to make sure I spend enough time with our guests to make their stay a special one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just had positive experiences with couchsurfing so far. All my hosts treated me nicely and were friendly, and I enjoyed staying with them. I have hosted many surfers and found so many great people. Some of them are my good friends. I really like the Couchsurfing concept.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a deep appreciation for instrumental music, especially the soulful sound of the saxophone. One day, I hope to learn how to play it myself.

As for movies, some of my all-time favorites include Into the Wild, Inception, and Shutter Island

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve had the privilege of experiencing some truly incredible adventures—let’s catch up and I’d love to share them with you! Some of my best memories include a breathtaking cruise to Antarctica, a solo trip to the wild beauty of Alaska, and many more unforgettable moments along the way :)

I met the legendary Apo Whang-Od — the 108-year-old National Living Treasure of the Philippines, the last and oldest Mambabatok (traditional Kalinga tattoo artist), and the oldest person ever to grace the cover of Vogue. I received her signature tattoo — a simple mark with deep meaning. It's hard to put the experience into words
