Hi my name is Hien. I'm born and raised in Vietnam and currently in Germany for my exchange. I also lived in Finland for 2 years. Moved there alone at 17 to pursue higher education. Ever since I started my exchange in Germany and got myself surrounded by people from different countries, I found out that I'm really interested in getting to know new people and hearing their stories, learning about their cultures and especially, their FOOD!! I would consider myself a moderate-friendly person. But don't worry, I will attack you non-stop with bad self-depreciating jokes and random knowledge once we get to know each other more.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
During the time I was still living in Vietnam with my sister, we hosted an American guy who was s bass player for a band at a bar in China. It was odd at first but it turned out to be a nice experience for everyone. All thanks to Couchsurfing! It's a wonderful platform to meet like-minded people from around the world, and getting to know new places in a local's perspective.
Music, Movies, and Books
I guess I like all kinds of music as long at it's good (except heavy metal or country I guess). And I'm told many times that I have such a random taste in music because I listen to K-Pop a lot but my favorite band is Muse. Movies: any movie by Wes Anderson, Amélie, Sing Street, Se7en, any Marvel and Pixar movie. Books: Norwegian Wood, Harry Potter, Darren Shan,...
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Manage to find my way to hostel when I got lost on my first solo trip in Poland.
What I Can Share With Hosts
A nice company, good conversation, terrible jokes...And if you can handle fish sauce, I can also cook really great Vietnamese dishes :)
