I am originally from Japan, currently teaching at a college in Colorado. I love traveling, meeting new fun people, bouldering, piano, watching anime, and cooking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been so fortunate to have met a lot of incredibly kind and generous people during my past trips. I'd like to continue meeting people and making friends, and hopefully pay back some day by being on the host side for someone.

Interests

I like to meet interesting people who may or may not share the same interests. When I travel, I like to visit local coffee shops, bakeries, libraries, drink local beers, and walk around the town. Walking, reading, coffee, beer, bouldering.

Teach, Learn, Share

When I travel, I want to pick up a bit of the language and try authentic food there. I'm very good at teaching Japanese if anyone is interested in language exchange. We can perhaps cook something together, or just have some conversation and learn something from each other.
