I am a happy, open-minded engineer working now in the Marine industry 😊😊 living in Norway.

I have found out that travelling inside myself is as much fascinating as travel countries and continents. Or sometimes even more, therefore I cherish the silence and calmness shared or alone.

Free spirit, contesting any 'truth' or 'lie'.
Nothing what it looks like, is, so I search for the real nature of things.

I use several languages at work so gladly we can speak some different ones if you wish.

If you wish to host me, please have sleeping arrangements for me, in a separate bed/couch/mattress. It is embarrassing to explain that I am not interested in sharing the same bed with the host..

Some time ago I read a book by Vadim Zealand 'Transurfing'. From that moment, I live my life to be in the eye of the cyclone, in calmness and silence, meaning that I avoid being involved in the pendulum of this world.
Challenging, but fulfilling.

My cuisine is mostly vegetarian, excluding milk products, sometimes I use meat as well.

What goes around comes around, some call it karma, but for an engineer, this is just cause-effect law. I bless whatever comes my way.

People come to life for a reason, for a season, or for a lifetime. The acceptance and patience to admit this lesson gave me peace of mind in life, sometimes painful but fulfilling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Exchanging ideas and thoughts incites creativity and new ideas, and I love that. It is also a cultural experience, to meet, talk, laugh, and find common ground with others. Live with the flow, and the flow is life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I stopped listening to music commercially produced, prefer now live instrumental one... As a lifelong opera fan though, I come back sometimes to my fav operas such as Carmina Burana, Madame Butterfly.

I do not watch movies anymore (no streaming platforms or TV), however there are some significant ones that I watch again from time to time: 'They live' or 'Girl with a pearl earring'

Currently I moved from reading books into journaling. Maybe I will publish something one day, who knows...

Transiberian train trip
Car trip of 14 days only of nearly 6k km through Norway, from south all the way to Nordkapp and back through Finland and Sweden.
Moving around Europe during pandemic restrictions.
I lived on the boat full time in Oslo
