Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to the radio (oe1.orf.at) every day, all day when I´m at home (when I´m not watching the news or a movie)
music: Johann Sebastian Bach, Rammstein, Richard Wagner, Ganna Gryniva
books: "Radetzkymarsch" by Joseph Roth, "Moby Dick" by Herman Melville, anything written by Johann Wolfgang (von) Goethe, Taras Schewtschenko and Lesya Ukrajinka. Lately I've been blown away by Dimitré Dinev's "Zeit der Mutigen" and hope there'll be an English translation available soon.
movies: documentaries
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hosting way more than a thousand people (since September 2008) - from kids as young as 18 months (and their mothers and/or fathers) to people in their 70ies - taught me a lot (about myself). Met amazing filmmakers at the Viennale- and "This Human World"-film festivals.
Teach, Learn, Share
Anything and everything we´re able to teach, learn and share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Living space, food, time (for conversation, sightseeing tours, hikes or small excursions). I'm the host I'd like to stay with.
