๐ฎ๐ถ( Iโm from IRAQ , but currently living in ISTANBUL)๐น๐ท ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป Iโm Hothaifa from Mosul, a city rich in history, resilience, and untold stories. Growing up there, I witnessed both its beauty and its challenges, especially during the years 2014โ2017, which deeply shaped who I am today. I currently live in Istanbul, where Iโm pursuing my Masterโs degree in Civil Engineering. Alongside my academic journey, Iโm passionate about storytelling, cultural exchange, and meeting people from around the world. Through my experience as a volunteer museum guide, I enjoy sharing the history and culture of my city. When I walk through my city with visitors, Iโm not just a tour guide โ Iโm also a witness to what has happened here. This allows me to offer a deeper, more personal understanding of Mosulโs story. I also love food, and Iโm always excited to introduce others to authentic Iraqi cuisine and traditions. I believe that every place has a soul, and every person has a story. My goal is to create meaningful connections, share knowledge, and offer an honest and authentic perspective about Mosul and Iraq. IG : https://instagram.com/hu1.7?igshid=NGVhN2U2NjQ0Yg==

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to connect with people worldwide, sharing my cultural experiences and, at times, seeking accommodations for my travels. Hailing from Mosul, my presence brings a unique perspective to these interactions, fostering a rich exchange of cultures.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
โ- I was the representative of students union of my university ( Northern Technical University- Mosul ) โ- Joining Mosul heritage foundation in Mosul city โ- Meeting a lot of travellers โ-I attended the wedding of a Turkish Couchsurfer and his Peruvian bride in a 19th-century Armenian church in Istanbul. I knew them through Couchsurfing, and being invited to such a multicultural and emotional celebration was one of the most heartwarming experiences of my life. It reminded me how this platform can turn strangers into family and how love knows no borders.
